Refund/Cancellation Policy

Once “Online Check-in” is completed, a passenger is not allowed to cancel or change their travel dates or request for refund except where the flight is cancelled by Malindo Air.No-show passengers are those who do not board their respective booked and ticketed flights. In such cases, only applicable refundable Taxes, Fees and Charges (TFCs) will be refunded back in travel vouchers. This does not include Carrier Imposed Charges.Other Voluntary Refund requests will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the ticket and applies for both full or partial refund requests.Note that Economy Super Saver fares are non-refundable but passengers may request the refund of Taxes, Fees and Charges (TFCs) in travel vouchers except for Carrier Imposed Charges.For Economy Value, Economy Flexi, Business Promo and Business Flexi, tickets are refundable with Cancellation Fee and the Most Restrictive Fare Rules apply.Refund requests on medical grounds, requires an official medical certificate/ doctor’s letter which must be issued from a registered clinic or hospital, which should state that the passenger is unfit to travel on the said date or for a specific duration. Malindo Air will review such applications and will consider if refund approvals would be granted. This is also subject to the submission of all relevant documents.efund requests on grounds of bereavement, require an official death certificate. Passengers claiming refunds on such grounds are required to show proof of relationship to the deceased. The refund application will be reviewed by Malindo Air to establish what refund terms apply and passengers will be notified of the decision.
